Because I know the secret.....

The secret is in finding inner peace. No one can tell you where your inner peace lies, until you have experienced for yourself where it doesn't lie.

If I'd told you ten years ago that financial freedom would not necessarily bring you happiness, would you have believed me? Of course not, as a society we all think that's the answer, and then when we find it lacking, we think there must be something wrong with us. But there isn't, we just need to find inner peace and then all the material things that we seek, will come looking for us. We have to be at peace in simplicity, if we are ever to find peace in physical abundance. Our level of satisfaction is not earned by material manifestations. It is earned by being aware that we create our reality and observing the path as we find our way to the realization of the manifestation.

Essentially, the joy is in the journey, it is not in the final outcome. It never was, and it never will be, because there is no final outcome. Whenever an 'outcome' presents itself, it will always have more desires attached, we are not designed to be satisfied with the appearance of one thing. We came into human form with the full knowing that whatever we achieved, we would never stop reaching for more. So the joy has to be in the journey, because the journey is ever evolving, and in our misunderstanding that material things will bring us happiness, then we are forever seeking for something that cannot be achieved.
